The Oklahoma Bondsman Association (OBA) recently announced its secretary and board member, Tracey Halley-Terrell, has earned the national certification of Certified Bail Agent (CBA) through the Professional Bail Agents of the United States (PBUS).
“By completing this certification, Tracey demonstrates her strong commitment to OBA, the bail industry and the people of Oklahoma,” said Ken Boyer, president of OBA. “She continues to provide a wealth of expertise in our field, and we’re honored to have her serve on our board.”
The CBA certification program began in 1987 and recognizes bail agents across the nation who demonstrate a high level of federal and state regulation training and industry understanding. To earn the designation, graduates must complete six CBA courses and pass a certification exam through the PBUS.
Halley-Terrell has owned and operated A Absolute Bail Bonds since 2001. She attended Oklahoma City Community College, has been an OBA board member since 2016 and consistently attends PBUS and ABC conferences.
“Bondsmen continuously work diligently to create safe communities not only in Oklahoma, but across the United States,” said Halley-Terrell. “This certification allows to me to not only grow my knowledge of the bail industry, but also work to create an improved system for the people we serve every day.”
